The Art of Making a Book

Someone had to invent a way to do this quickly. In 1454 German goldsmith Johannes Gutenberg put his press to commercial use and revolutionized printing with his invention of mechanical movable type. This footage demonstrates the art of making a book using the Gutenberg printing press.
